About Me

I study Computer Science and Finance at UC San Diego. I grew up in London, UK. I lived in India for a couple years, before moving to the United States for university. I've grown to have an overwhelming passion for technology and innovation; particularly, seeing how each innovation throughout history has changed human lives for the better(for the most part).

I've been privileged to take advanced coursework on topics such as Natural Language Processing, Parallel Computing, Deep Learning, Server Side Technologies, Design, The Mind and Brain, Proteomics, Operating Systems, and more and seeing how these interesect through the primitives underlying engineering and technology.

I've grown to believe technology is an enabler for all kinds of people, and that's been the basis for my approach to multiple projects I have worked on too!

Outside this though, I am also very passionate about running, lifting, racket sports, F1, meeting diffferent people, and exploring new places. I'm also tryna get into surfing and salsa.

What I'm exploring right now

• Blockchain Technologies: DeFi, smart contracts, and how to secure against attacks.
• Advanced Bioinformatics Techniques: hands-on bioinformatics for real biological problems, from sequence alignment and comparative genomics to next-generation sequencing and big data.
• Web Redevelopment: exploring ecommerce rebuilds that are AI-first while still getting the basics of the web exactly right.
• Investing & Markets: Really interested in AI infrastructure companies as well as how narratives make the market so imperfect. Exploring how tokenization could make markets bigger and better.
• Prototyping: learning interaction design through visual, physical, and digital prototyping with fast iteration, testing, and refinement.
• AI/ML Optimization: trying to understand how to optimize systems and choose the right ML methods across a wide range of tasks.

Recent Projects

• Stylestream — An AI-powered shopping assistant that helps you discover products through conversation instead of endless scrolling. Built with visual recognition to understand what you're looking for, combined with smart recommendations that actually match your style. I've tried it out on a Shopify storefront.
• Jay — A tool developed at a Vercel hackathon that lets tech enthusiasts and builders, like myself, stay up to date with news that is relevant to them, their learnings, and their projects. In a world with a lot of unnecessary news and comments, it's really cool to be able to get access to the stuff that really matters to you.
• Research Digest — My personal research pipeline that automatically finds, ranks, and summarizes the latest papers from arXiv, SSRN, and technical blogs. Uses AI embeddings to surface what's actually relevant, then condenses it into actionable notes for me every morning. Saves hours of reading while keeping me current.
• Local Analytics Service — Most analytics tools, while being simple plug-ins, aren't the best, and also are the same people selling your advertisements (interesting conflict). This analytics tool runs locally on your servers and gives you actionable insights that you can trust.
